Nach der Vorrunde war eine Einschätzung der Favoriten schwierig. Die Achtelfinale sind rum und ein richtiges Bild hat man immer noch nicht. Deutschland fegt schwache Engländer vom Platz. Das war schon mal eine Hausnummer, aber Weltmeister dazu bedarf es doch eines anderen Prüfstein.
Argentinien? Zwanzig Minuten dominierte Mexiko , dann bekam Argentinien zwei Tore geschenkt und verwaltet danach 70 Minuten das Spiel nach Hause. Messi kaum zu sehen, wurde aber auch nicht gebraucht. Wie stark ist Argenitinien wirklich? Keine Ahnung.
Brasilien dominierte Chile, die kaum zu guten Chancen kamen, tat nach vorne nicht viel nutzte aber seine paar Chancen eiskalt. Richtig gefordert wurden sie nicht.
Auch die Niederlande zauberten nicht wie früher sondern spielten Effektiv und kamen sicher gegen die Slowakei eine Runde weiter.
Spanien geduldig und mit dem Glück, dass man braucht um Weltmeister zu werden, schlugen extrem defensive Portugiesen. Das war schon ein hartes Stück Arbeit.

Zzwei fahren nach dem Viertelfinale nach Hause, also Sonntag wissen wir mehr.
